Pretty average splits for me except that 20.69 which is a pb by like 6 seconds... I don't really know what happened, I'm still in shock :D
What do you think, does this look ok, or are there are any too slow / too fast stages compared to each other?

Ok for blocks, either your first is bad or you second is too good. Since making a step worse is stupid, we will believe that your first block is bad. So improve fb to about 5s. Lse can drop an easy second or 2 with some slow turning look aheady stuff. Start learning 1 look corners.

Hi, quick question: At the end of Roux I keep ending up (five times in a row now) with the centers on the M-slice out of place (by 90 degrees) along with exactly two edge blocks in each other's place (also in the M slice, meaning that L and R are finished). If I do (M2 U2 M2 U2) to fix them I just end up flipping the two in the bottom slice and therefore being in the exact same position only now upside down. None of the Roux guides I've read seem to address this situation and I can't figure out how to fix it on my own. Any ideas?

The only way I could figure out how to fix it was to align the centers and use a 3-cycle to flip the three in the wrong location (M' U2 M U2), which left me with all four edges in the correct place but all flipped backwards, which I fixed with two applications of an edge-flipping algorithm that I know (M' U M' U M' U2, M U M U M U2). But that's not Roux.

It sounds like you are either not completing 4a fully, or you are approaching 4b wrong and flipping edges in the process.

If you have to flip edges after permuting the M layer during 4c, you are doing something wrong before that point.

If you post a scramble and partial solution that leads you to the state you're having trouble with, I think we can help more thoroughly.

Mmm, thanks for the advice, I'll focus on FB... Is trying to solve it blind a good idea for practice?
I'm not a big fan of learning algs, so I'm trying to postpone CMLL as much as I can, say about around 20s if I'll ever get around that limit :)

Yeah for fb just work on good planning in inspection, mabye not bld block quite yet, but fully use your inspection and be prepared. I think you should start cmll now. It really isnt that many algs, and lots of them are very easy to learn and recognize. Learn H/ double headlights set first. Its only 4 easy algs.

Just did an ao100. I definitely need more familiarity with roux. I found near the end that I was able to track my pair for first block while making my square and then make it fairly quickly, and then I was moving my head around a lot to see different angles during second block and that helped, but I don't feel confident in my ability to quickly make my second square yet. More slow solves should do the trick. LSE also needs more familiarity for efficiency, but I think for where I'm at it's fine for now. I'm not doing as many wedge moves during my CMLL, which is probably faster. I just hope it doesn't mess me up when I'm doing normal FreeFOP solves.

Help with methods and such

I want to learn roux but I am finding it hard. It is the method that is the most appealing but just having trouble with it. I am working on block building but just cant think correctly enough to build it efficiently and fast. I can orient the corners easily in 2 or less algorithms but I have problems with the edges. I am just stuck on it. :/

I'm a bit confused. Which step are you stuck on? Block building is step 1 and 2 (left block right block). Edges (after corners) is L6E, not blockbuilding.

If you are interested, and haven't done so yet, check out my YouTube tutorial. It will give you a basic understanding. Then if you want to do it more efficiently, upgrade to Waffo, 5BLD's, and Donovan's guides.

I know how to make the blocks (both) just can't build them quickly or efficiently. I can do corners and orient edges. I am having trouble permuting them the edges on the bottom and top. Its just frustrating and I cant find a good tutorial. I either don't understand them or their tutorials are boring and not very good.

you can only use M2, U2, and M/M' U2 M/M'. solve the UL/UR edges and then match up the rest.
