Nice job, but to be "official" you have to do that in comp13.38 ao 50. I am officially sub 13.5
Nice job, but to be "official" you have to do that in comp![]()
All I really need to get sub-17 Ao100 is to:
·Switch out some crappy CMLLs I can't sub-3
·Work on planning whole first block in inspection
·4a+4b easy cases
·4c recognition
Imo you could judt work on 3-4 s lse and faster FBWhat are splits? Like seperate parts of my solves?
First block- 3-4
Second- 5
Cmll- 3
LSE- 3-5
Maybe sub 2 cmll?!Imo you could judt work on 3-4 s lse and faster FB
Im not even sub 2 cmll. Get maybe half second of lse so its 4.5, cmll at 3 with recog is fine, get fb at 3 (plan in inspection and dont even look at it) sb is fine. That gives you splits of 3-5-3-4.5 which is 15.5 with no pauses. Just turn slow. You saw how slow I was turning in intuitive steps, about 3-4 tps. But dont be afraid to max outtps on cmll. If you really want to practise cmll, 5BLD has a cmll training video where you do the alg when each case shows up and you have less and less time to do each one.Maybe sub 2 cmll?!
Here is a well explained roux beginner tutorial by DeeDubb: http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLajHGvYF36nSsL1r_DqrpDY07TnJwqEpn
Your rate of improvement is dependent on how much you practise. How the 'average person' progresses is not important.I was wondering if it is good for a first method and what is the progress rate? I know the rate for progress will be dependent on me, but how does a average person progress with Roux?
Thanks for the tutorial!! I just watched the first 2 parts and they are very well explainedCan you answer the others questions if you know?
I'm the one who made that tutorial. Let me know if you have any specific questions. Also, I totally agree with TDM about progress. Some people go very fast, some people go slow. Your progress is based on your work ethic combined with natural ability to pick up new concepts. I went from 1 minute to sub-20 in about 8 months, but I think it was more work ethic than anything. I was practicing about an hour each day.
Thanks for the help DeeDubb and great work on the videos! I am bad at cubing but wanna get faster than my friends who are like 35-45 secs using the beginners LBL. They treat me like a inferior person as I can't solve it whole so I just wanna show them that anyone can get fast and I am sure to attract some attention of I use a different method. They think I am a loser though they use Rubik's brands lol. I ordered my self a Aolong V2 and a Zhanchi and will work very hard to beat them. Well, I am getting off topic but thanks again for the helpI'll be sure to subscribe later on
@TDM - Thanks to you too![]()
I just subbed, congrats on 100 subs![]()
80 Guanlongs plz [emoji8]Remember, my method is JUST to get you familiar with Roux and solving comfortably. If you want to be fast, you must look at some other methods (especially for corners). So, I recommend after you can solve with Roux, without using any help, start looking at Waffo's, 5BLD's, or Donovan's Roux tutorials. THOSE ones will get you to 35 seconds. My tutorial will only get you started.
Oh wow! That's a huge milestone! Umm... I wonder if I should have a contest? hah.
