Oh that's a cool alg, I would finish it with R2 x, which makes it only 9 moves :O
I like mine better tho, my hands like R U F algs the most. :p

Oh my bad, I got distracted by the second iteration of the alg. But ya, the RUF version doesn't work so well; tons of regrips xD.

Just wondering what should be my splits to be sub-20.

At present, My splits are 13-4-7

Almost every other solve I do is sub-20. I sometimes get sub-20 avg5 and avg12. But, I can't get consistent sub-20 averages.

Both 5BLD and Waffle describe the suggested splits:

Note that the splits differs, because they are not hard-wired.

My personal suggestion is that you should aim for a consistent 10-4-5.

GuRoux, your solves look awesome. I need to get my left finger flick down for L6E. I like how your solves start off looking calm and slow, then you hit CMLL and the TPS goes up a bit, and then L6E and you just take off like a rocket, haha.

The problem I have with only lefty U moves is sometimes my fingers get stuck. For example, I find M U M U hard to perform this way because when I reach the last U, my left index is "stuck" at LBU and it seems slow to move it back to FLU to flick the last U move. How would you do this? Thanks

i think i avoid things like that in my lse.

I think I use Alex Lau's style of LSE. I might make a video about it. Basically I either do U2 or U2' using right and left double flicks, and do U' using my left index and U using my right. For M' I push the DB edge with my left ring or middle (whichever works better for the specific case) and for M I push DB up with my left middle. For M2, if it's the last move of the solve, the I'll just doubleflick it but if it's in the middle of LSE I'll do something like r (M' R') because there is a 50% chance that the next move will be a U' in which I would have to regrip if I doubleflicked the M2. Doing r (M' R') helps with the fluidity of the LSE, and it's fast. :)

I tried doing some of this stuff but would get stuck at spots where something like M2' U was called for, which is sorta awkward with the r M' R'. Separation of moves (i.e. Ms with one and Us with the other) feels awkward at first but for me it has become more natural. And you can always double-flick easily.

Well using the right hand for the U and the left hand for the r M' R', it's pretty easy to do. Note that the M' and R' are done simultaneously.
