Non-WCA puzzles magnetisation

I have magnetised my DaYan Gem 5 before, and I think the Hanoiminx looks rly similar to the DaYan Gem 5. I think it’s not impossible, but really depends on the internal mechanism, like if it is impossible to be fully disassembled or the plastic are just too thick. If anyone have the Hanoiminx, can post pics of the internals here and let me hv a look to see if it’s possible to be magnetised
I think I'll take some parts out of mine later to see.

Why is the Curvy Copter hard to magnetise? In my opinion it would be one of the puzzles that benefits the most from magnetisation, as it is hard to tell when the pieces are aligned correctly for jumbling.

I have magnetized them. The problem is just that the plastic is so thick you don't really feel the magnets. You can't exactly drill holes and press fit them either because of the curved surfaces. So you just end up with a heavier puzzle for no reason.

Exactly. This is the case for most LanLan puzzles and those rly old cubes with thick plastic and only come stickered.

I’ve just decided to sell my LanLan FTO M with custom Cubicle stickers (+an extra set of custom Cubicle stickers with same shades). I can solve it while check out some FTO algs, but I can’t really speed solve an FTO. It is just too good for me to use and I think it would be rly cool if someone who can speed solve an FTO use it to get good times. Selling it for $16, let me know if you’re interested!

What about a Meffert's Curvy Copter? Does anyone know if that is any different?
