Non-WCA puzzles magnetisation

I have just looked into the internal mechanism of the QiYi Gear Barrel, and I found it almost impossible to be magnetised as expected. However, I do think that it is possible for qiyi to make it like the qiyi clock which has gears as well, just that it can’t be self-magnetised as there are almost no room for magnets. My idea to magnetise the QiYi Gear Barrel is to add magnets to the corner and edge stocks ignoring the gears. However, even though it is possible for qiyi to do that, they just won’t bother to make them as these gear puzzles are no where as profitable as making flagship wca puzzles and mass producing magnetic gear puzzles will definitely cost a lot.

Z3Cubing has just magnetised a QiYi gear cube by extending the pieces with 3d-printed parts! First time to see magnetising a puzzle by extending the internal parts and its on a gear cube!

Should I make a Speed Tuttminx M?

The Rubicle Labs Tuttminx M is just so expensive…
I've just received my speed tuttminx today and I'm going to magnetise it. As I looked into the internal mechanism, I found that its easier to magnetise than I expected. However, I will need more than 1000 magnets to magnetise it including some magnets with custom size, so I will have to order the magnets I need for my tuttminx. Also in case you didn't know, the hexagonal faces on tuttminx should only be turned 120 degrees instead of 60 degrees, and I have already figured out how to make the magnets click into place only in every 120 degrees for the hexagonal sides.

Do you have a magnetization guide for the Qiyi Kilominx?

Do you have a magnetization guide for the Qiyi Kilominx?
I first used 5*2 magnets in both the edges and corners which is very strong as the plastic is so thick. However, that was not even noticeable. Then, I stacked 4*2 magnets in both the edges and corners which can only barely fit in, especially for the corners, putting the magnets strength to a slightly stronger side. Make sure you do it on the same side of the corners and edges as it may result in not being able to fit in the additional magnets later on. I started it out on the side with a little bit more space as I wanted more room for the magnets in case additional magnets is needed, which turned out to be needed. I was inspired by a youtube video to magnetise the qiyi kibiminx, which I will link it below. In the video, 4*2 magnets are used and there are no additional magnets, so the magnet strength is pretty weak.

You can refer to my post on my qiyi kibiminx M. Also please note that you will need 120 5*2 magnets and 120 4*2 magnets.

I think I saw Z3Cubing's video on magnetizing a Gear Cube. I don't have a 3d printer but if you do, he could help give you a second try
Actually there are already some discussions in previous posts about magnetic gear cube. I do believe that it’s possible for magnetic gear cubes to be mass produced, but to qiyi it is nowhere as profitable as making magnetic clocks

Oh i didnt read those im stupid 💀

Just thought about this, I wonder if it is possible to magnetize the Hanoiminx?
I have magnetised my DaYan Gem 5 before, and I think the Hanoiminx looks rly similar to the DaYan Gem 5. I think it’s not impossible, but really depends on the internal mechanism, like if it is impossible to be fully disassembled or the plastic are just too thick. If anyone have the Hanoiminx, can post pics of the internals here and let me hv a look to see if it’s possible to be magnetised
