custom made non-wca puzzles for sale

Hi

I want to get into the field of making (and then selling) modified twisty puzzles. These would range from 3x3 mods (fisher cube, bandage cube, etc) to barrels (most sizes of nxn's), as well as siamese cubes, 1x1s, and maybe a couple other things.

However, before I start making puzzles, I was wondering whether people would actually be willing to buy them from me. I am based in Australia (Queensland), and puzzles would probably be from $15-40 AUD ($9-25 USD) (not including shipping costs).

As I gain more skill with modifying puzzles, I may potentially start selling modified non-cubic puzzles, and cuboids. If you have any questions, please reply in this thread and I will try to answer ASAP.

These puzzles sound like they would be cool, unfortunately I wouldn't buy them.
This isn't a "they will probably suck i wont buy 'em" situation, more of a 'i am the average cuber; i have $7 in my bank account" situation.

I really think you need to start making puzzles, and demonstrate to potential purchasers that you can actually do it before you have any chance of selling some.
But you should definitely start! Make some mistakes, have fun doing it, develop your skills and generate some unique ideas. Trying to turn it into a business comes much later.
