2: Sub-50 (Learned full OLL and PLL. Full CN)
4: Sub-30 (First comp. Did horrible, super nervous)
6: Sub-25 (Stayed here for a while because I was practicing all other WCA events and didn't 3x3x3 as hard)
7-10: Sub-15 single, sub-20
10-12: Basically sub-18. Sub-10 single (Two of them, one realllly lucky)
13-16: Sub-21 lol. Wouldn't call myself sub-20 yet. (Switched to ZZ and stopped using OLL/PLL and only use COLL/EPLL. Learning full ZBLL)

Random breaks in there for school but probably didn't really hinder me. If I ignore those breaks, I have been cubing for 16 months and two weeks.

I don't really remember what I was averaging before like Jan 2012 or so, so I'll start there. For reference, I first solved a cube March 2011.

Jan 2012: 15-16
July 2012: 12-13
Jan 2013: 10-11
July 2013: 9-10
Jan 2014: 9
July 2014: 8-9

Nowadays I'm at like mid 8

I'm considering changing to ZZ...is it worth it? If so, can you give my any tips for EO LIne? I'm having trouble understanding it.

Mine is something like this:

Week 1: learned beginner method. around 5 minute solves.
Week 2: learned 4LLL. around 2 minute solves.
Week 3. PB 1:42
Week 4: Learned basic F2L: average: around 2 minutes
Week 5: PB 1:12 ao5: 1:30
Week 6: PB: 58s ao5: 1:15
Week 7: PB: 47s ao5: 58s
Week 8: PB: 42s ao5: 54s
Week 9: PB: 37s ao5: 48s
Week 10: PB: 32s ao5: 39s
Week 11: Learned Full PLL: ao5: 1 minute
Week 12: PB: 32s a05: 50s
Week 13: PB: 30s ao5: 40s
Week 14: Learning better F2L: ao5: 50s

At the moment I am doing mainly slow solves trying to familiarise myself with more efficient F2L methods (less rotations, inserting front and back, learning weird case algs etc.) so my times have got worse. Also I have started to forget some of the less common PLLs so need to drill those as well.

I always get slower when I learn a new technique though. so anticipate in a few weeks I should be breaking 30s PB and getting my ao5 below 35s.

Then it's time to learn full OLL.
