and yes my cross is slower than my F2L I have seen badmephistos cross videos and fingertricks and they helped me about 1-2 seconds but my Cross is still skocking. I have seen people who do their cross under 3 seconds but dont understand how.If there are any good videos on youtube please post.

My LL still needs a major improvement aswell
. I am currently using 2Look last layer know about 12 PLL'S and about 20 OLL'S. And when should i learn the FULL PLL

I will post a video soon showing 1 of my solves

Example solve times:

1 Cross : 10.34 Seconds Good cross by the way
2 F2L : 14.16 Seconds
3. OLL : 4.80 seconds 2LOOK
4. PLL : 11.60 seconds

= 40.90 Seconds

I average 32-45 Seconds

ps.I started cubing around Christmas

Thanks :)

I suggest going for full PLL as soon as possible, followed by full OLL (not as important but a good 2-3 seconds saver.) My cross is like 4-5 seconds, (I average 32-33 seconds) so don't worry, your times will slowly decrease with practice.

Becoming color neutral will help the cross move count and times a lot. It takes about 2-3 weeks for most people, but they say that it is worth it. That's why I'm working on becoming color neutral myself. Your f2l times might take a temporary hit because of pair recognition , but it will get much faster in the long term.

You need to plan the cross before you start solving. If you know the moves you need to do, then its just a matter of doing those moves quickly.
You should learn full PLL NOW.

You are doing really well if you only started about a month ago.

if you arent color neutral i would suggest learning that now! then its really not that hard find the most complete cross and plan what you are going to do then do it. Also are you doing Cross on Top or Bottom if it isnt on bottom i suggest learning that too!

Your problem is probably that you're not planning out an efficient cross before you start. Maybe you're stuck with some kind of method where you put the cross pieces on the top and bring them down, or something. Point is, you should be solving the cross edges directly, in as few moves as possible - but more importantly, you should be planning it all out during inspection.

I suggest this: do a bunch of scrambles and only solve the cross. Inspect for as long as you like, but once you start the timer you should solve it in 8 moves or fewer. Don't worry about how long it takes you to actually solve it, just focus on the number of moves. You should be able to execute the cross without looking at it. Now, once you can do all that, practice until your inspection is always under 15 seconds. Once you can get a good solution, in under 15 seconds, and execute it without looking, your cross should easily be 3-4 seconds or less every time.

And when should i learn the FULL PLL
Absolutely as soon as possible. You will be shocked at how much time is saved on the ones you didn't know. One-look OLL is less important, so learn it at your own pace.

Aside from the suggestions already given, here's a couple more:
1. For the cross, take as much time inspecting the cube beforehand as possible. Don't worry about limiting yourself to 15 seconds for now
2. If you know most of the PLL's and are still taking twice as long on that as your 2 look OLL, I'm guessing PLL recognition might be part of your problem. If you haven't already watched it, this video will probably help a lot: Recognizing the PLLs

Indeed my cross was averaging 8 seconds a few days ago, started some cross only solves ad unlimited inspection and watched badmephisto's video, and its working well.

You're getting that from what I said last night. Stop giving advice on things you know little about. It's misleading and not totally correct. There's other people here who can better help him.

This is a useful supplement to that video if you want a paper version of if to carry around with you.

That's not just from you, many other people have said that as well.
