Only been to one comp, but I’ve met (former) WR holder for skewb average, Carter Kucala. Also met Brian, former holder of the 2nd best 2x2 average. And met a bunch of overall great cubers.

Notable moment: Got A DNF average for 3x3 😬

I have a few things:

I heard a kid say "what if we get a no-tip scramble on pyraminx" while judging and lo and behold I was judging them for their first solve and a no tip scramble appeared.

For my current 3x3 PR average, I got an extra in solve one, got a world record of 0.098 on the extra, then the scramblers lost my cube for about 20 minutes, then I got 3 11's, a 14, and another 11. During the last solve, they called my group for the next round. I got an E1 in the next round too. That screwed up the schedule.

I judged Chris mills and they got a timer reset out of a sub 2 on skewb

I got a skewb scramble that was one move into solved corners. Two U perms later and it was done.

I got a 21.8x 3x3 average while averaging 14. (Got a corner twist out of a plus two on my second solve, except the would be plus two was caused by the table.)

At my last competition halfway through 5x5 round 1 the fire alarm went off. I was judging at the time. I also judged max park in 4x4, and sat next to him in 5x5. After lunch max apperently got his 7x7 PB, and everyone was freaking out. I podiumed in skewb round one, and got like 5th in finals.
