I just did the most insane MBLD attempt of my life. Since I haven't done an attempt for almost 4 months, I figured I should do a derust attempt, and decided to do a 14 cube attempt(every 3x3 I own), estimating it would take around 50-55 minutes. The result was 13/14 36:53(DNF was a 2-flip). Everything felt pretty much perfect and memo was clear and solid the whole attempt. This is really good news, as I think I can now start doing attempts of around 18-20 cubes. I really needed this rn, since only top 16 on psych sheet can make UKC and I'm currently 17th. I have one MBLD attempt at Great Lakes to qualify for UKC, and with this sudden improvement I think I have podium chance at both comps(3rd on psych sheet is 21 points at Great Lakes and 18 points at UKC).
Problem is, I now have a hardware issue as I only have 14 cubes, and 2 of them are WCA illegal. Even worse, one of them is my 3x3/3BLD main RS3M V5, which has a chipped corner now. I'll have to buy a new RS3M, and I think I'll also buy a MBLD bundle from Cuboss which comes with 9 Meilongs for a really good price, and a Cuboss blindfold which I don't really need but whatever.
I knew that grinding big BLD would improve my multi, but I didn't think it would help this much. MBLD arc starts now ig
