[Help Thread] 2x2 CLL Method Discussion

psst what is rowes channel?

I don't understand how your not subscribed to him hes like ridiculous. he just doesn't make nearly enough youtube videos i guess to keep up.

I don't understand you. lern2typegood.

I dont wanna keep bumping this thread up more but what are you talking about?

"I don't understand how you're not subscribed to him, he's like ridiculous. I guess he just doesn't make enough videos for his channel to be well known."

Making little changes to your grammar makes will make your posts much easier to read. I don't want to start a grammar war. It doesn't have to be perfect, but I'm sure you can do much better.

Practice makes perfect!! Dont forget that! I was at first bad at intuitive F2L, but then, after lots of practce, it lowered my time 4-65 seconds! Its still lowering it as I progress!

Who was it that said "Perfect practice makes perfect.", but yea, if you practice bad habits, you're not going to get perfect.

I'm using Rowe's algs on youtube for some algs and recognition and I'm using David Woner's site for some of the algs that I don't like from Rowe's videos. It works out good.

CLL or Ortega

I have 2x2 at home and I average about 9 sec with Ortega

Is learning all the CLLs worth it?

Or should I just stay with Ortega?

Advice anyone?

(I know I can get faster at Ortega but I'm just curious.)

I PB 6.11 on 2x2x2 with First layer + OLL + PLL.

I have no idea what ortega is, but I'm very interested, could I have a summary of the technic?

In ortega you first get a side (the pieces dont need to be permuted so not a layer just a side). Then you orient the top. Then you do pbl (permute both layers) to finsh. If you already know oll and pll for 2x2 its only a few algs more.

Interesting... Lots of algs? I learned all PLL and I'm learning more OLL, more F2L and I'm learning Square-1 algs (I only need the parity one to finish all algs)
