[Help Thread] 2x2 CLL Method Discussion

CLL?

Sorry for another thread yet again but I was wondering how fast you are supposed to go because I have memorized the sune cases and it takes me around 6 seconds to find the pattern which is insanley slow and bad and I was wondering is this normal for someone who is just learning cll.

haha good. i heard that i had to learn sune first and i guess thats just to get it out of the way. its quite annoying but rowes video promised me a sub 4 average haha. i just want sub 5.

Yeah, sune/anti-sune cases are the harderst ones.

What about recognition. When you are looking "where every single cubie must go" it is impossible to do it quickly. You have to look at color schemes - where are opposite colors.

And it's quite easy after trainings to recognise it in less than 0,5 s. For me the hardest part is FL, good FL. On my first and last competition I had scramble and I didn't find any solution in preinspection. Because of this, I've done 6.xx solve :/

just look where the opposite colored stickers are. on the right on the back or like diagonally (around 0.2 seconds i think). and then look at the rest (like every cuber looks on different stickers) for the opposite colors (0.5).
thats how it works for me. but still dont know one of those sunes :P

Just keep practicing, after a while you won't see the individual parts that you're using to recognize, but the case as a whole, you'll just see it.
I agree. When I was first learning it took me awhile to recognize but after practice it became a lot easier. I'm learning EG1 right now and I'm going through the same thing.

Alright thanks. I've decided to learn sune and anti sune last so i can can the rest out of the way. Double sune was very easy and I just finished it.

Alright cool. I've watched Rowe's video on cll recognition and it made me understand it much more. I have some different recognition techniques on some patterns that I think will work fine.
