[Help Thread] 2x2 CLL Method Discussion

Hasn't someone learned full CLL in a day before? I'd be surprised if it hasn't been done.

Me. :)
I saw this thread at the beginning of the week, and was surprised at how quickly some people learned CLL. And then when I saw you say this I was like, "Challenge accepted!"
It took me around 8 hours to learn, and I was extremely mentally exhausted at the end of the day. I wasn't sure how well I'd be able to remember them, but when I got up this morning I only forgot 1 alg. The Sune and Anti-Sune cases are hard for me to recognize, but after a few days of practice I think I'll have everything down pretty well.

A word of advice for anyone else wanting to learn CLL. 1 day is pretty overboard for learning it. Realistically though, I think 3 days would actually be quite easy. I learned the first 2 subsets very quickly, but once I started adding more it got very difficult. So you could learn 2 subsets a day and then throw the H cases on any one of those days.

Ummm... Im thinking of learning CLL but then Which case should i go through first
Easy and less cases...
Thanx

I am color nuetral at everything and on 3x3 I can always get optimal cross within a minute and a pretty good one in my 15 sec inspection it's not just one scramble. I fail at every first layer unless there is already a block of 2 peices.

If you make a diagonal swap face you can solve it by doing R2, B2, R2. You can use this easily to make your FL with this and cancelling moves

I'm trying to learn CLL, and learning the algs is no problem, I already have the H and Pi/Bruno sets down, my problem is just remembering the cases that the algs go with. And tips/tricks for this? Maybe writing down the case and the alg and justu studying them together?

My fl times are getting much better finally and I have started on cll I learned H cases last night so they are pretty easy but I want to actually solve with them a bunch so I can automatically do them when I see the case, but I did 2x2 250 TIMES- and I didn't even GET all 4 of them. And I don't want to go on to the next set because I feel like I don't know them well enough because I can't get them in solves :(

If solves aren't working, try this: do a T-perm, and flip corners to match the H OLL. Do the CLL case.

The only CLL trainer I could find online was this: http://cll-trainer.blogspot.co.nz/
Which seems pretty good, but I don't like the diagrams (they force you to use a 4-sticker recognition system).

So I've started making an app, which uses Chris Olson's pics and algs, and randomly generates from the selected sets (on the left) whenever you press space.

HOWEVER. I'm bad at programming and so far, it only functions when you select: a single set, all the sets, or as many as you want in sequence starting from sune (e.g. you can select sune, antisune, and pi. But not sune and pi or pi and U etc).
You can hide/show algs at any time. Be warned, I only put in the algs that I like because I was making this for myself. Someone might find it useful though.

Have you seen this?

Oh cool, haven't seen that. It's nice because you actually know whether or not you're performing the algorithm correctly.

I'll still use mine for a bit just so I can spam cases and get my recognition down. I'd say programs like mine (mine specifically is pretty flawed) are good for grinding recognition. Your link is like a test, to see if you know what you're doing.
I'll definitely be using that some time soon.

Thanks!

I am currently finnishing learning Cll on 2x2 . My question is how much time will it take me to get to sub-4 ? sub-3.5? sub-3? after learning Cll. I am using Ortega just now and I average around 4.5
