So I'm averaging around 25 secs at the moment and was wondering what I needed to work on to get faster.

1st Block: 4-6 secs
2nd Block: 6-8 secs
Corners: 2-4 secs (Depends if I know the CMLL case)
Finish off the rest: 5-6 secs
Pauses in solve: 2-4 secs

Try to build the blocks more freely, that you can use in inspection to plan starts like a 2x2 at one side and a pair at the second. Or in that situation, place the pair in the first block, build the second in the same style and end F2B by switching pairs (R2 F2 R2 or R d' L U2 L' d R' depending on the case). there are loads of tricks you can use here.

Learn all CMLL's and practice, practice, practice, preferably using a 2x2x2 and go colour neutral (but only on 2x2x2), that makes wounders for the recognition times when you switch back to 3x3x3.

I see lots of things that need improvement.

Try to get this down to 3 seconds or less. Are you able to plan the whole block in 15 seconds? If so you really need to work on your TPS here. If not, you don't want to be solving the 1x2x2 then having to find the pieces of the last pair, practice planning the whole thing.

All I can recommend here is to read Gilles' page and work on being able to plan the first block so you can be solving the first block and looking for the first corner of the second block at the same time.

You should know what to do here.

Same as above.

Work on the other things and the pauses will stop happening.

I can't really plan the whole block at once and normally have to stop for a while to look for the pieces. I'll work on it.

I suppose I'll be easier to do this once I can plan the whole first block at once.

Practice and learn CMLL?

Ok

2nd Block: 6-8 secs

I recommend practicing slow on this step and looking for the fewest moves to create the 1x2x2 block. Although you won't look for an optimal block each time you do a solve, it can open your eyes to many sequences that are fingertrick friendly and shorter than the ones your currently use.
