in the second block, the DR edge has the highest solving priority as it seems that solving this in the first group of pieces leads to easier cases in the latter groups

Ah, that's helpful - coming from CFOP I assumed placing DR first would be a habit I should try to break in order to be more efficient.

I'm learning Roux. I've only read information and watched videos about the first block so far.

Am I supposed to solve the first block with the same six pieces every time (like the left cube in the spoiler)? Or, am I just supposed to solve the first block in the same layer (so both cubes in the spoiler would be an option)?
Thank you.

Well, people usually adivse to solve blox wiff y-axis color neutrality and OC neautrality. So for example, solving any of the blocks when you haff yellow or white on the U face. (So green, red, orange, and blue blox)

I started learning Roux a week ago
It's a very intuitive method , and I liked it . Basically only CMLL need algs

But after some solves, I noticed that if i solved the first two blocks with an cross and the intuitive F2L , it would eliminate a lot of bad edges cases. For me , it's make the solve a little bit faster
What do you think about it ? Using the first two steps from CFOP, and after doing the CMLL and orienting the last 4 edges ?

It's not a good idea, it takes around 20 moves to solve the first two blocks in roux, i thinks its bout 35 for the first two layers in cfop

you will also have to do coll (less efficient) instead of cmll to keep the m-slice,

Of course if you are going to use Roux for fewest , you should do the blocks by the normal way, since you can put various pieces on their place with one move
I haven't learned any CMLL that changes the M slice from the bottom face , so I van't understand why to use COLL from Petrus ( ? )

That's CFCE.

F2B are faster than F2L; With Roux, you have the first block memorized and only have to look for two more corner edge pairs on the second block, for cfop you have the cross memorized and have to look for 4 corner edge pairs to insert; F2B has fewer moves and less look ahead compared to F2L. I guess for the CMLL vs COLL there aren't that many that switch the m-slice.

What about x-axis color neutrality (which I guess is what I'm asking about)?

I donut really see it dun much, but if you can pull et off, and still haff consistent times, go for it! Usually, most Rouxers are just y-axis and opposite CN. Because of the great freedom in blox, you donut need to be full CN like in CFOP.

start at this CN thing early or else you'll be stuck like me; i can only start with two different blocks

how much more efficient can you expect to be by being full CN vs y axis CN vs what I have?

Full CN (If you can do it without messing up your times for too long because of EO and CMLL orientation)>y-axis (easiest and prob es a must)>what you haff, which, from wat I understand, is you only have two FB options...
