I got avg 9.58 and avg 18.34OH by roux method on Jul 28's Hefei Open 2013 ,but i don't use table to move middle layer when OH,just rR' or r'R,r2R2 in the air,i think it's more convinient
Cool, congrats!
Do you have a video of your one-handed style?

Would it get annoying if I started to post 1 solve every second day so I could try to improve?
Maybe, idk, just do it ;)

for the second block i would have done this: r U' R2 U2 r' U' r2 U2 R' U' R

Can someone critique?

U2 R F' R2 L B' R B D F U2 F' D2 L2 B' R2 F D2 B2 D2

z2 U' L U F' x' U M U' M2 U2 r U' l'
R' U R U R' U' R U R M U M' U2 r' U' R
Double sune
U' M2 U' M' U M' U M' U2 M U M U2 M U2 M2

First block was pretty bad. Second was pretty average.

Edit: Here's one more:

U B2 D L2 U' B2 R2 U' B D2 L B' F2 D L U2 F' R'

Hold blue top, yellow front (y2 x)
U R2 D U' F U F' U L' U' L
U R2 U' r U' R U' R U2 M2 U2 r U r'
Y-perm
M' U M U M' U M' U M' U2 M' U' M2 U M U2 M U2

Pretty much average again.

Okeh. FB: z2 x' D' U2 L' U L R U' R' U x'

CMLL: F R2 F L2 F' R2 F L2 F2

U2 R F' R2 L B' R B D F U2 F' D2 L2 B' R2 F D2 B2 D2

If I started with the same block as you:
z2 U' L U F' B2 R' B R2 B' (10|10)
R' U' Rw' U Rw U' Rw' U' M' U2 R' U R (13|26) (2nd block always sucks for me)
U2 F R' F' R U2 R U2 R' (9|35)
M' U M' U2 M U M U M' U M' (11|46) (damn 6flip)
U2 M' U2 M (4|50)
U M2 U2 M' U2 M' U2 (7|57)

What is average movecount for second block?

I think around 12 moves or less is what the really good cubers do in a speed solve for the second block.

scramble: U2 R F' R2 L B' R B D F U2 F' D2 L2 B' R2 F D2 B2 D2

blue center on the left and white center on bottom

LSE: U2 M' U' M' U' M U' M U' M' U2 M' U' M U2 M'

Seems high to me too - best bet is probably to count the average from something like this.
19.1 STM average for second block there

No its 12
You're probably being inefficient in some ways
Looking on reconstructions of fast solves it seems more like 18 to me
I am inefficient for sure ;)

Hey pros; i just started using roux, and learned from waffles tut! For a new rouxer, do you have any tips? I'd say my biggest weaknesses are the 2nd block & step 4a, which is making the bad edges good. I have experience with ZZ, and CFOP, but i doubt that helps. Makss.

Well ZZ fill definitely help you grasp the concept of fixing bad edges and CFOP will kind of help with hard block-pair cases. (Though sometimes your algs aren't the most efficient way to do something)

I'm no pro, but
To improve your SB: watch example solve vids, remember to only use U,R,r,and M moves (for now), the m-slice is a great tool for pairing, so use it! Also, Roux is rotation less, so find clever ways to insert pairs like this: Setup-R U R' U y' To insert this pair without rotations, do: r' U' r. This is possible because in Roux we don't care about the m-slice orientation.

To improve 4a: get your cases down cold and even know what case comes next so you don't waste recognition time, know how to intuitively use Moo (M' U M') to cycle cases, for good algs, watch Alex's (5BLD) Rouxtorial on youtube

Thanks! The 4a step is something i'd rather learn intuitively, as i believe i'll recognize, and do it faster that way. For the last pair, thanks for the advice! I'll go watch some roux walkthrough solves!

Lol I suck
I wonder if I'm still that bad. Don't look at my solves for advice on SB, I'm pretty sure I'm better now (I hope so).

Edit: actually probably about 16 is ok
