I used to buy IZO stickers from puzzleaddictions.com, but recently I haven't been able to find any 3x3x3 stickers for sale on the site. Are they down for maintenance? Is there anywhere else to buy IZO half-brights? Thanks for your help!

Sticker quality

How does the sticker quality of different brands (Cubesmith, cubicle.us, Izostickers...) compare ?
I'm not talking about the colours, but about the physical quality: chipping, peeling,...
I'm using the standard dayan stickers atm and they chip like crazy...
So I want to replace them but I don't know what brand to choose.

I have some from izo and cubesmith, and the only way I can tell the difference is by checking the size, since cubesmith is 1mm larger :)
the "plastic" sheets they cut from are the same brand!

The type of Vinyl each store uses is likely Oracal. I find that Oracal has the largest variety of color and texture, when peeling them off your cube it leaves minimal residue. You can compare them by the shape and size ;)

People call me crazy and claim all stickers are the same. But this is my experience:

Cubesmith: Good, doesnt chip much
Izo stickers: Bad, chips fast
Oracle from lightake.com: Lasts almost a lifetime. Expensive tho, but it doesnt matter since you never have to replace them...

I have Izo stickers on most of my cubes and have probably only managed to chip one sticker (and that was due to not cutting my nails)!

What?!? I have put Cubesmith on my WitTwo done about 1500 solves stickers chipping. While I have IZO set on my Panshi and done about 1500 solve and very little chips.

I've got mostly Izos and some cubicles on my 4x4, but it really does seem like thecubicle stickers are a bit thicker. I've never hard a chip with izo stickers though. I dont know if thecubicles are really thicker, but seeing as izo stickers have never failed with me I dont see any reason to change. The only minus with IZOs is that every single Zhanchi fitted sticker set that I have has 1 corner with a "rip" on it, it's not symmetrical. It's very small and doesnt really matter but a better sample sheet would fix this. Thecubicle stickers are more expensive than IZOs + you need to order with atleast 15 bucks to get free shipping where as IZO offers free shipping to all sticker orders.

Pretty much everyone uses Oracal; What I dont know for example is that does Oracal provide vinyl sheets of different thicknesses? If it does there might be a difference in sticker qualities.

I have cubesmith Half brights on my WitTwo. Done like 1500 solves only the black, blue, and red sides have chipped.

Okay yeah I'm calling you crazy :P They're all made out of oracal..
Not sure about the stickers from lightake though.

Anyone know the reason for why the white, blue, and stock red are always a poorer quality than other colors, such as all the fluorescent ones? It's the same case from every sticker shop I have ever ordered from.

You mean normal white, blue and red? I heard that flurescent stickers are (x)x thicker than the normal ones. (from the oracal website or something)

I've only ever tried Izo and stock stickers, and from my experience I have never had to resticker a single cube. All I get is some minor chipping at first, and then nothing for a long time.

Then again, I don't solve very often and I have no fingernails, being a chronic nail-biter (if such a thing exists)
