Both blocks would be goodFor both blocks?
First block is over 16 moves and second block is over 20 unless I get a lucky case.no i mean can you do f2b in 16 moves?
Okay.. but how do I optimise it? I'm still trying to get to 15 moves, so I can use more than that. ( Or I may think too muchFor the first block the first thing you have to do is to identify all the pieces. From there try to optimise and make the first block by focussing on all the pieces rather than just inserting an edge making a pair then inserting.
Alright. Why don't you do an example solve so i can look at what you're doing wrong.
Too bad I wouldn't see that and it wouldn't work for me since my orientation is Y/BCrazy FB!
Try: y L D' R U B R r B'
What the hell are you doing there?Alright.
scramble: D2 F2 U' B2 D R2 B2 D' B2 D' L2 B R' B R2 B' U' B R F2 U'
x'
First Block: U' L U2 L' U' R' U' r U' L' U' L' r' U' R' U R U' L' U' L U2 L' U r B' (HORRIBLE)
Second Block: U' R' U R' U M' R' U R U' R U R' U2 R M' U' R' U' R U' R' U' R (HORRIBLE)

:tu:tu:tuhttp://laire.fi/jarcs/ will help you find blocks.

I'm pretty sure I can do Y/G AND Y/B but, Ill try Y/B, Y/G, Y/R and Y/O. Then Ill slowly use white or yellow on top. ThanksI started out with that orientation. People told me not to use a set orientation because it will hinder your ability to solve optimal blocks, so I'm telling you now, TRY TO BE Y-COLOR NEUTRAL. Meaning, keep yellow or white on top.
I don't need the block to be THAT efficient. Just efficient enough to make it under 15 moves or so. But I'll definitely do that.Going from the block solution you came up with to optimal block solutions from JARCS is a huge step. I'd say first try studying 1x2x2 (square) solutions off of JARCS to gain some square building intuition.
What part do you 'suck' at?So I'm averaging about 26 seconds with CFOP. I like to solve with Roux better, but I suck at it.
Where do I get started, and how do I get back to my sub-30 ways, with this new, method?
