How to pull the rivet of V-CUBE 5

Hi，I am Chinese player. I want to pull the rivet of V-CUBE 5.Then replace the screw.I hope you can give me a way to do this because my cube is very loose, and in China I can not find the right way, so come here looking for a foreign expert.

You could pull really hard on the center piece, but risk damaging the plastic (What I did the first time). You may also use a dremel and carefully grind the rivet head off (What I did the second time; was less effort but more time consuming).

There is another even more efficient method than the ones mentioned above:

first, just cut the core straight between the edge of the center piece and the arm, the rivets are still inside the center piece as there is still a little piece of core stuck inside.

Then take a flat nose plier and put the center piece in the "hole" of the plier (cap facing down), and aim a nail at the exposed rivet and hammer it out.

What did you not like about it?

My screws have loosened up at the top so much the center caps won't stay on. They obviously won't screw back in, so do you have any recommendations short of buying a new cube?

First: Esthetically the center caps don't stay on
some sides are tight some are loose, crooked screws( i suck at modding)
well try the mod, it can help you i supose, since springs are loosened, but be careful don't damage the center pieces

3x3 cores are too short for V-cubes. Use the original core, just follow my method.
