For PLL, how do you know which scenario is your cube? Do the colors have to match exactly with the picture?

Also, what do the arrows on the top of the cube in PLL mean?

Also, do you have to permute the edges and the corners separately? It says "permutation of corners only" and "permutation of edges only". DO you have to od two algorithms?

Arrows show how pieces move.
About recognition, we recognise cases seeking simalair blocks(color connections) like in pictures.

Also, make 1 thread, not a bunch.

Arrows denote where pieces should go. For example, on the U Perm, three edges need to be cycled.

EDIT: ninja'd

Sorry about the many threads. I was just worried that people woudn't read it if I put it on the same thread.

If you don't want to follow the arrows, just do the inverse of the algorithm you are looking at, and that will show you which case you get. Note that with any case except the A's, G's, and U's, you can just do the actual algorithm and it will give you the case as well, then do it again and it solves the cube. With A/G/U, you'd have to do the algorithm a total of three times to get the cube back to starting position.

Somebody let me know if I missed one that cycles so I don't accidentally lie to him :P

Also, change your signature

Cube: Ignore this. Your sig isn't breaking any of the rules.

Depends of if you think J perm is a 2 cycle corners + 2 cycle edges, like when the big bar is solved, or a block 3 cycle, like when there is no AUF, front bar solved (for the R U R' F' one.)
