Big fan of languages and linguistics here! Here are my languages in order from most to least fluent:
English - native language
Spanish - studied a lot in high school/university, not quite fluent but pretty advanced
American Sign Language (ASL) - studied for four semesters in university, not as good as my Spanish but definitely conversational
Vietnamese - studied online with a tutor for the past year, currently conversational but need people to talk slowly and repeat themselves a lot
My current goal is to really solidify my Spanish/ASL/Vietnamese to the point where I'm simultaneously confident with all three (I've been putting so much work into Vietnamese recently that I've noticed my Spanish and ASL deteriorating a bit, so I want to avoid that), then I'd like to expand to more languages. As of now, Hebrew and Japanese would be next on my list.
