I don’t think this is correct. A GOAT means greatest of all time. Greatest means the best of something. That is 1 person.

Yes, everything has 1 GOAT, debatably 2 if 2 people are extremely close in ability. Whether that be basketball, cubing, or gaming. If there is more than 1 GOAT, there is no GOAT.

So, if we name someone GOAT at some point in time, then they are the greatest of all time... for all time. If someone else steals the title of GOAT from them in the future, then surely the first were never even GOAT at all. So, once someone has been given the title of Goat, it can't be taken away. Therefore, Feliks always has been, and always will be, the GOAT of cubing.

He doesn't have anymore WRs, and his dominance seems to be fading, but he'll always be the GOAT in our hearts, especially that of @Cuber987 (inside joke).
Think about it, if a Greatest of ALL TIME will be eventually replaced by someone in the future, why should we call him/her GOAT?
Shouldn't he/she be called Greatest of That Time?
So no, GOAT can be multiple, no GOAT can replace another GOAT, nor a GOAT can be replaced by another GOAT.
According to this logic, no one should be called goat. As long as there are still people competing, there still is a future to cubing, so there isn't an "all time". We can only name someone goat when cubing is completely dead, with no competitions and no new results.

So, acording to this logic, it's not Feliks who is the greatest, it's Yu Nakajima? Or Daniel Shepperd? Or Ron van Bruchem? Or Eric Waterman? Eric had 17 second averages when Minh Thai set their Record, so if you go to the Mailing Lists of 1981-1991, you WILL find someone saying Eric's the greatest ever, so by this logic, nobody after that will ever be the Greatest.
What we mean is that, GOAT can be held by multiple ppl at the same time, but for their respective era.
Let's make example with Feliks, given the cubing method development status, the communities, the speedcube hardware development status, he is truly the bestest of the best, and there is no proof that Tymon or Max or anyone else can do better than him in the same circumstances, thus he is GOAT of his era.
And in this era, max or tymon have not been as dominant as Feliks does, (though Max is showing his dominance) so they are not yet the GOAT, but at the same time, the current "version" of Feliks is also not a GOAT, only the past him is GOAT.
I hope making examples does not create confusion.

Also, I don't think you understand what comparative form is. If you are the greatest, you are the only one, the best. How can you have multiple best people? You can say one of the greatest, but goat is only the greatest.

guys GOAT means greatest of all time he has no wr records anymore he might have more championship wins but I bet you he wont be winning any more there are people better than him meaning he is not the greatest so he is not the goat imo
I think I have to agree with you and the logic and grammar you presented.
So I think no should is GOAT, any of the so called greatest will eventually be "replaced" so no, do not even discuss who is GOAT, Feliks is not, Max is not, Tymon is not, Yiheng is not, and no one will be, and I think practically GOAT does not exist and there is no point we discuss it here, or anywhere else. Do tell me there will be a point the WR can't be broken. It still can, when the WR is stagnant for long enough, WCA will introduce 0.001s, the 0.0001s then 0.00001s accuracy (with of course a supported hardware), so the WR can always be broken and there will still be no GOAT.

Yes, but nobody has yet to be as dominant as Feliks, so he is still considered a GOAT. Mas has only dominited in last 4-5 years, while Feliks has dominated for a decade. If Max can continue to hold the Big Cube WR's, get 3x3 WR Single and Average, and OH average, for another 5-6 years, I would consider him the GOAT.
A decade still isn't all time though
