Poll time! What event do you hate the most?

I actually like pretty much every event I can do, except I don't really like skewb or OH. I don't know how to do squan, 6x6, 7x7, and 4x4 BLD and 5x5 BLD. I can theoretically do 6x6 and 7x7 though with big cube knowledge, I actually have solved a 6x6 twice but had to look up parity.

Lets do the elimination method
3x3 squan and mega are really good. 4x4 would be if I had a good one. Clock is fun is my dials weren't so oily. 5x5 is just good. Pyra would be good if my cube didnnt break all the time. The BLDs would be good if I knew how to solve it.

2x2 practices look ahead for other events. FMC shouldn't even exist so i'm not including it. OH is fun to look at.

Skewb is weird but 6x6 and 7x7 are just events for the good 5x5ers (eg Max) to farm WRs and are insanely repititive so it's one of them.

I'm better at 7x7 than 6x6 officially so 6x6

I strongly dislike squan.
I am going to assume you meant to type squab, a Skewb nickname you don't see anymore.

Otherwise, and I am not happy to say this, as the leader of the National-and-International-Comittee-of-Square---1-lovers-and-Friends-alike-plus-the-others-that-don't-fit-elsewhere-because-face-it-we're-the-WCA-outsiders I will use my force to declare

I strongly dislike you.

Can't be bothered to log in to my G account so I'll just write my answer here: my least favourite event is FMC.

Who in their right mind would spend one hour solving the same cube over and over? At least in multi, you're solving different cubes.

Or, well, I have a complicated love-hate relationship with FMC. Literally the only event I've managed to podium in, yet doing serious FMC practice attempts is so inconvenient and annoying that I largely don't bother.

Real answers:
Least favourite: pyraminx because I'm actually legitimately terrible at it and I don't find it interesting
Most favourite: 666 because I'm a satanist— no I'm not actually but what if I were Good balance between centre solving and edge pairing, some fancy stuff that can be done on 6 that doesn't work / doesn't make sense to do on 5 or 7.
Most practice: almost certainly 333, then 777, 666, FMC(?), 444(?)
(Not on the poll itself, but least practice definitely goes to 5BLD, which I have literally never practised before. I've done partial 4BLD attempts and MBLD attempts so those are at least nonzero.)
Highest Kinch score: FMC by far

Might actually fill in the form later. Or maybe not.

FMC is an event(similar to Multi) that, if you wanna practice properly, at some point you will need to spend the full hour per attempt. And that is something one only does if they really like it.
There is often a grey area in between liking an event and not liking it, but due to how inconvenient attempts are, this area is very narrow on Multi amd FMC.

In Contrast, 2x2, Pyra and Skewb enthusiasts generally like the ease of doing quick solves.

Squan is fine, since it's fun to watch and is in the shape of a cube (similarly with megaminx). Skewb is just weird, so that's out, and clock isn't even a cube (and I got in last for clock at a comp), so that's out too. Finally, and I'm fine with this one, I just think it's unnecessary, multi-blind.

MBLD is a good event, keep it. Skewb sucks so remove it. I understand why people want Clock out but I still like it, and feet is bad so keep it removed.

I understand feet was removed for hygienic reasons, but it's still entertaining to watch. Clock is an anomaly; it shouldn't really be an event but at the same time, it's likable because it's easy to learn. Skewb is annoying, and I feel like MBLD is kind of a waste of time. Thing is, there isn't really anything good to replace it with, considering people are just going to 1-look scrambles in 2-bld.

The better term would probably be "twisty puzzles"; there's a definite argument to be made that Clock is not a twisty puzzle, which is what the WCA specializes in.

Feet wasn't removed for hygienic reasons; it was removed because it had basically a very low barrier to entry and still very low participation and recognition. I think Clock became an event because it was created by Rubik's, but that could be incorrect. Skewb still sucks, but MBLD is super impressive and good because it doesn't have too high of a barrier to entry (most people who can do 3BLD can at least try 2 cubes), but an incredibly high ceiling. It's also one of the most spectator friendly events imo (the execution; not the super long and boring memo phase).

Oh, good to know. However, this is solely opinionated. I find the idea of solving a cube with your feet quite funny as a concept, and funny to watch, but I do see the reasoning for it's removal (I'm not seriously advocating for its return, the tag is a joke). As for MBLD, it certainly is an impressive event, but it's like you said - the memorization process is very long, often with a low success rate, so aside from the execution, it's not the most spectator-friendly event.

On another note, I would be curious to see what squan-blind looks like.
