Community Feedback: how can the site improve?

I can't attach a photo and insert it on mobile. I can upload the photo as a file attachment, then edit the post in desktop mode on my mobile browser firefox to insert the photo in the post, but that's annoying. Attempting to use the forum "drop image here" from the toolbar gives me error: Oops we ran into some problems.
Did this issue just start? Is it still happening? How big is the attachment?

been an issue ever since I joined and yep still happens. The attachment is under the limit because if I use a picture over the limit I get the message that the picture is too large.

What might be cool would be having roles/achievements under your name, such as active member, dedicated member, new member, forum nerd, etc.
Or maybe have it relate to cubing somehow
that would be nice, we could also add what solution we use for 3x3.

I have the same thing when I use mobile

A few ideas I had:
you cant attach files (images) on your pf page
extention of the character limit when using spoilers

I too agree its a cool idea, but maintaining so many labels will be too much work and upkeep.
Unless these labels are defined by numbers and automated, I do not see them being implemented.

But again, if we have number defined labels, it will gamify the forums, and people will abuse and find weird ways to boost their score, which is bad for the forums. So, TLDR, having no labels is cool. A person who is new to the forum, and the one who has been using the forums for 10 years are both equal.

Thread merging happens very often on this forum, but oftentimes a thread's title contains information not in the post body, and when the thread gets merged into a bigger thread, that information is lost. Unless the original thread title is completely uninformative (e.g. stuff like "help?????"), it would be a good idea to include the original thread title in the moved post.

---

I can only assume the reason this isn't being done is because it's a hassle for the moderators, and that it's a hassle because it has to be done manually; without knowing anything about how XenForo works, is it possible to automatically include the thread title when merging threads?

I will dig into this and update you soon, apologies about the delay. I just uploaded a 1.8MB photo from mobile without issue. I will increase the current limit of 2MB. What kind of file are you trying to upload on mobile and how big is it?

Ok this isn't about how the site could improve but I couldn't find the right thread to ask this soo...
How do I find a thread that I save as a draft? I was typing one but then I had to go and now I can't find it.
Go back to the forum you were posting in, click New Thread and it should show where you left off.

I can add this, but please provide more details of how roles/achievements are reached. Post count? Reaction score?

Which page specifically and what is the error so I can replicate the issue?

Ah yes, this shouldn't happen as it can cause confusion. I will note this further to the moderation team to prevent any confusion. @Mike Hughey @Brest Are you familiar with this issue? Let's note this going forward - if a thread is merged ensure any necessary info in the title is carried over with it.

The accomplishments tab on @Prostar's profile is broken:

Times over a minute are displayed both in minutes and also in seconds, and all of his 3x3 times are ranked at 0. I haven't noticed this anywhere else, and on my profile results over a minute get displayed just in minutes.

There is no option to attach files on profile pages.
For the character count it says Max character count reached. Limit:400

It’s alright, as @abunickabhi has said

to me it seems the mods are very aggressive with thread merging, I think too eager.

I would also like the ability to delete polls. I made a poll for one video on my yt thread, but now its a few months out of date and it's just stuck at the top of the thread. Ideally, I would like the ability to create new polls as well, but at the very least I would like to be able to hide the poll.

This is a feature that I've also been really wanting for a while...
