Void Cube Stiff Layer?

One of my layers is really stiff.

Are any of yalls cubes like that?
I've tried lubing it, and it doesnt have the same effect as it does on the other layers.

Any advice?

Ahhh, its so hard to disassemble.

It hurts pulling on the corners, it seems its not worn in yet.
Ive played with it for a few hours, and its better now, i guess it just needs some breaking in then. ;D
