One-Answer 2x2x2 Question Thread

Should I learn EG-1 or LEG? What algs are considered to be better/faster?
EG-1 is better. LEG is ok if you're saving a rotation, so you should learn it eventually, but not if you don't know EG-1 already. The most common progression for 2x2 algs is CLL → EG-1 → EG-2 → LEG-1 → TCLL → 1LLS. Don't learn it if you're not sub-4 with CLL though.

Looking through the algs now, that makes lot of sense. Thanks!

What’s 1LLS?

If 1LLS has 358 algorithms, and Twisty EG-1 has 344 algorithms, it makes me wonder which is better; the obvious question is:
- Can you make 3/4 of a CLL face in fewer moves than an EG-1 face with any corner disoriented?

I think the latter is easier for 60% cases and the two are both somewhere around 2 moves.

So I learned Ortega recently and one problem that I have is that when I finish oll. I have to do 2 to 3 rotations to do pbl. Any tips to lower these rotation?
