POPS

So i started speedsolving Skewb a while ago and average around 16 seconds. I use a Mo Fang Ge Skewb, which is known for popping often. But the edge caps started popping every second solve recently and I wondered if there is something I can do. (Can't afford new one right now)

Yeah, but the problem is that in that case I wouldn't be able to adjust the screws anymore.

I have a valk 3 that pops every ~5 solves. I got a GAN X, so I'm probably not helping too much. With you skewb problem, you could try tensioning it tighter , or doing slow solves though. That helped me with my valk.

I already tried, but the Problem are the edge caps, which don't seem to be affected by tightening or loosing, because they are... well caps

How about this: glue them down with just a little bit of glut, like just a small drop, so that it prevents popping but you can still get them off if you need to tension the cube.
