For cubers, do you use swear words if anything bad happen when solving the cube? like the cube pops, or the cube lockup when solving ?

i know most of cubers will angry if anything bad happen
but i dont know if most of you will raging and use swear words.
because most of speedrunner will raging and use a lot of swear words if they can't achieve time the want, or the run is dead and failed, like "f***" "s***" "b****"
even casual players will raging if play on hardest difficulty in the game.

I usually don't, but one time, when when I accidently dropped the cube on a solve which could've been my new PB, I was really, really angry.

Another thing I do is to blabber random stuff during a solve to calm my nerves down. It may feel weird to anyone else, but my friends and parents are used to it, and it actually helps sometimes.

I swear at home (sometimes loudly) when I get a bad time or a pop.
I DON’T swear at comps tho, no matter what happened, because I don’t want to get a talking to from the delegates who, frankly, have much better things to do than reprimand 14yos about their language

That being said, I’ve heard my local delegate swear at comps…

I spend a lot of time mountain biking and road cycling, and it’s both common and acceptable to swear, both as a prefix for something “I hate the f**king wind”, or as a way to express strong emotions. “Micheal’s crashed. F**K!”

I think as well, New Zealanders (and Aussies) can and do swear pretty vocally.

I just swear, many dutchies can relate, sometimes when like on clock, when my lowest number for memo is like 4, I usually give up and just watch instagram reels or some other entertaining stuff.

I never do but I had this guy that I was judging at a comp, who averaged around 20s, but got a couple of 30s, start swearing up a storm. I felt bad because he was clearly having a bad day (he’d driven like 4 hours for this comp and didn’t make it to the second round. It was his only event). But it was definitely not appropriate and there were a lot of children around
