So I was doing PLL for my Megaminx and couldn't find any algs for the case I had. So I did EPLL and solved the edges so I only had to look for CPLL. But I still couldn't find any algs. Any help? I have a picture with my case and what needs to be switched around:

I'm trying to break the 2-minute barier on megaminx – right now I average roughly 2:15. What should I work on and keep in mind? Am I slow enough that I should just do a bunch of solves to break this barrier?

Yeah, probably. Megaminx is literally just solving F2L over and over again (+ the last layer), so once you start getting used to how pairs form on the puzzle, you should get a lot faster.

I was averaging high 17s on 3×3×3 when I got sub-2 on mega, and since you're already well ahead of me on that, this shouldn't be a problem for you.

Also, I think something that might be useful is to not exactly predict where every piece goes, which might be too difficult at the beginner level. Instead, just roughly "feel" where the pieces are—very often, if you sorta know the piece you're looking for is on one of the hind faces, then turning only the visible faces won't affect its location much.

I really want to get fast at megaminx, but I just learned how to solve one about a few days ago with my knowledge of 3x3 solving.
I currently avg around 4 mins which is really slow and want to get sub 1:30, how can I progress?

Megaminx is great because most of the solve is intuitive, so you really can get better just by practicing.

Hi guys, I've learned 4LLL for nearly a month. But I find it waste too many time to recognize pll cases during solving. Are there any methods or advices for rapid recognization of EPLL and CPLL? (especially 5 corners' cpll)

I just got a megaminx, and solved it intuitively.
Is it correct to do a "cross" (more of a star) then do F2L for 10 minutes and then solve the last face with algs, or do speedsolvers have a different method?

I've just returned from a 1.5-2 year cubing break where I'd only occasionally solve the 3x3. In that time has there been any developments on whether there's a seems-to-be-best s2l method? I've been using Balint's method and I'm considering switching to Westlund

Ok Megaminx. I have done 3 times solves, and they were a mid 6 mins, 5:15, and 5:25. I need help! I want to be able to do 3 minute solves and I need advice and tips. I am learning 4 look ll and I use Westlund s2l. Please contribute help to this page!
