I'm currently using the Cross/F2L/2 Look OLL & PLL method(s).
I tend to pause too much on F2L, I do it completely intuitively.. Is that not a good idea?

Also, when it comes to edges, on 4x4, 5x5, 6x6 and 7x7.. I often have difficulty locating colors I need quickly, and making the split second decisions on which color to do next..
Any tips?
I've noticed the best speedcubers do their edges extremely quickly, is there a method for doing multiple edges at once, or are they just fast?

And is there a better way to do centers other than just one center, it's opposite center then two adjacent centers, and then the last two?

Intuitive F2L usually takes longer to master than alg based, but once mastered you benefit more from empty slots

If you do AVG edges, you don't have to choose which color to do next. That means you already know which piece to search for while you are still building/replacing the previous piece. That gives great look-ahead. And the best speedcubers ARE "just fast"

The approach you give for centers is the one everyone seems to agree on is best. I have never seen any scientific analysis why it would be best, but I tried many orders and liked this one best intuitively (but I also tried to solve the 3x3x3 like that in the eighties)
