Edges first during beginner F2L?

Traditional beginner's method for 3x3 teaches to solve the white corners first, then the edges, but I feel like solving the edges first comes with more advantages. For one, after edges are solved, the turning to solve the corners is 2-gen and rotationless, and you also don't have to teach that edge insert algorithm with the rotation. Is this actually valid?

This sounds good in theory but you would have to learn 5 algs (2 for inserting the edge and 3 for putting in the corner) compared to 3 with the traditional method (1 for the corner and 2 for the edges) and when you're a beginner you want the alg count to be as low as possible.

Well then it’s just a different order of lbl and orienting the edges. Not beginner f2l yet. But yes it does get rid of that rotation.
