Stickerless and Stickered Thunderclap v1

I have a stickerless thunderclap v1 and when i watch reviews and unboxing on the stickered thunderclaps, they seem to sound different and kinda look different. The stickerless seem to have sharper edges and the sound is way different. So does anyone know if the stickerless and stickered are the same or different? Also people say Aolong v2 stickered is similar to thunderclap v1 but i find it totally different between my stickered aolong and stickerless thunderclap. If they are different, i want to get a stickered version of the thunderclap.

I've got both a stickered and stickerless Thunderclap and they do feel and sound quite different. But I've also felt other people's Thunderclaps at comps and their stickered Thunderclaps felt quite different to mine. I think how you set it up plays more of a role than whether the cube is stickered or stickerless. Personally i prefer the feel of my stickerless Thunderclap but i hate the colours, so i used my stickered one as my main for about a year. My Aolong v2 was my main before the Thunderclap and I think they do feel quite similar, but only because I spent time breaking the Thunderclap in and setting it up until it was similar.

They are the same, they could look different because the stickers doesn't cover the full piece. If they were different there would be no reason to have a 3-piece design in the stickered version.

About the sound, this do could be a bit different, since the coloured plastic could be a bit smother. In the same way, transparent plasticis more fragile.

At least what I did as that I removed an edge and a corner and put quite a bit of heavy lube inside.

I'm not the best to ask for lubing advice because I'm really lazy with lubing my cubes. I use an unbranded silicon oil I found in a 200ml bottle for cheap (equivalent of US$4) at a local hobby shop a couple of years ago. It doesn't have any info on weight or viscosity but by comparing it with other lubes it seems roughly equivalent to weight 3. I clean the cube out every 2-3 months and then relube the core and add only a tiny amount between the pieces in two or three places and then work it in well. I prefer my pieces dry and the core a little bit gummy.

I'm sure they are different, because I have both of them and the sticker less feels softer, scratchier and less responsive to lube.
I use a broken-in overlubed thunderclap if you want to know how my stickered version feels.
