looooooooooooooooob.

That's pretty much all that us cubers do to our cubes besides modify them (which a cube like the Hualong definitely doesn't need).

Hey guys I'm new to his web site:cool:
anyway... My new stickerless Hualong is extremely slow, I have tensioned it multiple times and cleaned it and still is very slow. The overall performance of the cube is saddening, it can hardly courner cut 45 and is very loud. My friends stickered Hualong is so much faster and has amazing courner cutting. I bought it from cubezz. Is there something wrong with my cube? How can I fix its slowness? Help meeeee!
Thanks :tu:tu

Hey, I read your post! So, I really strongly suggest loosening up the tensions. Really tight tensions can get up to a cube that cannot even move. Tight tension can make cornercutting impossible, and great. Instead of lubricating it, which will fix the smoothness, the tensions will fix the cornercutting, and the speed. Try taking the 6 middle caps off, and you should see a screw. Get a screwdriver and loosen it up. Remember to do that for ALL 6 screws. Also, try to make them even. :)

Thanks for the help!
I have done this multiple times and I have loosened it to when it pops frequently and there has been absolutely not difference in speed so a definatly think its something to do with the core.

my hualong definitely had screws not going into the core strait and the core was also deformed. I also noticed my friend's aulong V2 cuts inside corners better than the hualong. I think regular corner cutting will get better on my hualong after I break it in. right now the aulong V2 cuts corners better. all we did to these cubes is wipe off the lube that they have when they are new. my hualong is not tensioned loose at all but when solving fast it feels really loose. that is in the design of it.

the fix is to get a new core, screw, spring kit from something else. then carefully put the screws in straight the first time. I think there is too much thread on the hualong screws so I would probably not even use them.

To the people telling him to just lube the cube, there's obviously a problem with the cube itself if he thinks it's slow. The hualong is one of the fastest cubes out there right out of the box. It was insanely fast for me. He should definetely lube it eventually yes, but lubing isn't the issue here.
It's hard to know what the problem is since you've cleaned it out and everything though... can you show pictures?

Just like the title says my aolong V2 cannot corner cut. for some reason if you arn't going slower than anyone would ever speedsolve it will lock up. If i loosen it anymore it pops and the layers have much friction as i turn them. There used to be lube in it but i cleaned it out when it started doing this. I did lube it so it is possible that i have a crooked screw. I did check and i thought they looked fine. If anyone has had this problem or knows what is happening please help.
This is the exact problem I have with my Hualong! Mine is so mc h slower then my friends and it is terrible at courner cuts.

Cube Defects

So I have a few defects with my cubes pls tell me how to fix them

My aulong is very bumpy on some sides probably a crooked screw how to fix?

I have fully lubed the core on my dayan 2x2 but there still is spring noise how to fix?

Thanks for the help and sorry about the lack of info

Those aren't even defects...
- You can take apart the cube down to the screws and rescrew them in straight
- There's spring noise because something in the screw or spring is hitting something else : add more lube and/or look for pieces of flash

My Weilong, which I have had for a week, had a lot of spring noise even after properly lubing the core. Today I took it back apart and used the smallest dremel bit I have to very carefully round the ends of the wire that makes the spring. I figured that maybe, for one reason or another, that batch of springs had a sharper end which was catching more. I lubed the core again and put it back together and have no spring noise now.

Worked for me.

Cheers
