Thanks guys!

One more question, sometimes when I'm doing EO during L6E, I get the 3 mover 4 flip case and I notice that one of my D layer edges is already solved and the other one can be solved while doing EO without additional moves, thus giving an edge PLL. Is that worth doing?

Personally, this never comes up for me, but I'm also not attuned to noticing it, so I'm not sure.

Nah, don t wory about it. The MU PLL works the same way as l6e any way so don't waste time trying to recognize it. Focus more on the nex t step of roux and try to block all CFOP thoughts from your mind

just work on lse. usually that's the weakest part of the solve for someone who recently switched from cfop.

U2 R U' R' U R U R'//block
U' R2 D R' U2 R D' R' U2 R'//CMLL
U2 E2 M E2 M'//L6E

looking back at this i realised it was only fast because the SB was mostly CFOP (and the massive skip during L6E of course). I also realised that the U2 E2 could have cancelled.

Still an accomplishment for me!

Nice! Your first block seems a lot better! Just work on using only R/U/M/r in second block. This restricts you to find more efficient solutions than with a cfopish approach.

//EO skip
U' M' U2 M U M2 U// ULUR+(last part of L6E) skip

that bolded rotation was sort of 'spread out' over the first 3 moves. If that makes sense...?

Nice Ryan! Now I will beat it! (probably not, but hopefully beat my pb ao 12) But first to do some homework... two essays gonna take a while... maybe tomorrow?...

Maybe you should stop at "Nice Ryan." It's good if you are motivated to beat other people's times, but I think it's rude to step on other people's accomplishments by telling them you are going to beat their time.

I know. Thats just the way I am sorry if I offend anyone.

It's fine if that's how you think, no one is here to control your thoughts. Just don't put those thoughts into typing. Of course, we're impressed with the speed that you're getting faster, and if you use beating other people as motivation, don't let any of us stop you. However, you should try not to type those thoughts.

Anyway, keep up the good work, and keep representing Roux well.

i dont think its offensive at all. when i read penguin's remark, i pictured a smiling, confident ash ketchem-esque character... then he flipped his hat around backward and dramatically pitched a rubiks cube out onto the field infront of ryan.
also, i have a hard time understanding how its belittlement to say, "i will beat it." if that is belittling, actually beating it in practice would also be belittling and i've never heard somebody shame another for doing well... y'alls gotta lighten up

so i did 400+ solves today spamming tps and relying mainly on insta-recognition.. so many sub 10s :D... so many sup 20s too, but lets just not talk about that =P. it is always good to remember that look ahead and relaxed turning is not all one must practice in order to roux well

Yeah if someone said that to me, I'd take it as a compliment. In my head that's saying "you have done something that challenges me to improve myself."

Also, nice!

I knew I shouldnt have typed it before you said anything. And I am notorious for being a jerk while texting, emailing, forums, etc but DW im nice in person. : ) I think I just forget im talking to people. Because to me, you are all just a profile pic with a random name that posts letters.

Lol ash ketchem. For turning style, for some reason, every week I alternate. Last week it was slow lookaheady, and this week, I started turning faster and I dropped my times about a third of a second. But the only reason I was able to turn faster was that I had a lot of practice with slow turning.

i usually start a session kind of fast turning, then transition to smooth turning for some reason.
