Why have there been no WR's lately?

[NmeCuber]

Ruihang should just get a scramble with an f2l skip
Edit: and get a sub-1

[tom0989123]

FR this makes no sense

It's gonna be verry rare that there will be a World Record because all the speed cubers have
all most reached the limmet

I don't think we've reached the limit yet. If you see what people are doing at home, there's still more records to break

pov ruihang with his 3x3 WB: yes

[Burrito]

maybe we are getting worse and the only way to get better is to add watermelon as an event.

Valid and correct opinion.

Is that what the w in WCA stands for?

[NmeCuber]

WATERMELON (cubing) Association

[NONOGamer12]

I agree. More events is the solution to every problem

lol

Adding Kilominx as a WCA event is the solution to every problem*

no mirror

[Meanjuice]

I feel like all the WR holders are just taking a break

[Luke Solves Cubes]

FR this makes no sense

Probably since all the cubers are tired from their new year parties and want to sleep in so they forget that they have a comp and get their when 3x3 ends and go home and forget that there are other events. That or they are too lazy. I guess they could also give the 3-year-old cubers a chance to get a world record instead of selfishly hogging all of the fun to themselves.

[Running for cube]

And mirror cube

Completely 100% agree. Especially bld fmc w mirror cube.

[NmeCuber]

Completely 100% agree. Especially bld fmc w mirror cube.

But you have to write down moves with feet
And you can only feel the mirror cube with one hand

[OldSwiss]

Do you think it could be a hardware issue?

Cube Hardware improved a lot in the last time and there were a lot of records after the pro cubers switched to the last generation of flagship cubes

But now they already got used to the new cubes and I don't know if there is still much space for further hardware improvements.

[Cuber Score]

Max Park hasn't been turning as fast lately

[Cuber987]

Max Park hasn't been turning as fast lately

And Tymon hasn't been as efficient.

[NmeCuber]

And Tymon hasn't been as efficient.

And Ruihang has been too so many comps, he's tired of cubing
