I was hopeing once I could depend on LBL (Layer by layer) I might get faster:fp now learing F2L is somewhat hard. Help please?

It's never too late to learn F2L. Badmephisto has some really good F2L tutorials that I used to learn F2L. Also, if you're not using it already, I highly recommend intuitive F2L over algorithmic F2L.

@flyingfingers: it seriously comes down to getting used to F2L and really changing the way you look at the cube. Intuitive F2L is one of the hardest time consuming things to learn (don't mean to intimidate you). I personally don't know any f2l algorithms because I can still do my f2l in 6-7 seconds easily and I haven't bothered to look further into them. I have looked at some "important F2L algs" that intuitive users should know, but I found out that my way of doing F2L consisted the same number or even less moves. I have been using intuitive F2L for 2 years btw.

I taught myself F2L intuitively without even realizing that it was F2L about a year after I started cubing. There is no specific time to start. It's just a matter of whether or not you want to learn. And if you do, then teach yourself.

Lol, I learned F2l after cubing for 2 year on and off. It just takes a long time to get used to actually learning f2l. Go check badmephisto's video or rido's hunting story

I started to solve the cube 5 years ago with a beginners method and I learned f2l just six months ago. Rido's hunting story is a nice way to learn f2l ;)
