I was was just wondering what DIY type you think it the best. I am in desperate need of a new cube. And if you do have a suggestion, could you please put a link to the site to buy it from? That would be very helpful. Thanks.

Posting the link was helpful.

The sarcastic condescending tone was not.

Apologies for the attitude there Csyers, it would seem even some of the older posters somehow forget the beginners forum is the first place most guests end up and many are not familiar with the search function or forum ettiquette.

To answer your question, yeah, this has been covered before. There's a great thread already devoted to discussion of this very topic.

Note that 'best' DIY is a very subjective term. Individual tastes vary wildly and whilst you will see common configurations at the top of the votee's list time and again, they won't necessarily reflect what will work for you as a cuber.

I personally use a Black Type A with the older yellow core. I own only 7 3x3x3s at the moment, but this was the best one for me so far.

Cheers

The best is the "glue cube." Contrary to common thought, glue actually speeds up the cube by getting heated by the friction of the cubes rubbing together. Heated glue will make the cube really smooth because it is so doesn't resist flow. All you do is get a storebought cube and apply Elmer's glue.

No, but really. There is no "best" speedcube. It's all preference. Read the link the guy above gave. You can order cubes from cube for you (google it) or 9spuzzles, and etc.
