the Tanglong is not too loud, IMO....The 356 is pretty quiet as well..

Hi everyone, I'm looking for a quiet 3x3 cube (so I don't annoy people! ). I'm looking at either a Fangshi, Shengshou, Dayan, Moyu or Gans cube.
Out of all of these, which is the quietest?

Assuming you're not going to turn it too aggressively (because any cube can be quite loud that way) ...

ShengShou Wind is the quietest among all the cubes I own. While forward corner cutting on it is pretty OK, it has close to none reverse so you'd need to be quite accurate with your turning. I actually find slow-solving on it quite challenging and fun. Great way to practice when you don't want to disturb the people around you.

If you prefer more "fault-tolerant" cubes then I'd suggest a Gans 356.

Overlubed Zhanchi/Lunhui is pretty quiet. Some 357s are silent, and some 356s are as well. V-Cube 3 is quite quiet. However, the Shengshou Wind and Aurora (which is just a pre-Florian modded Wind) are completely silent out of the box!
