The Worst 3x3 Cube.

Wow look at these poor innocent children that think some mediocre modern speedcube is the worst 3x3.

My worst that isn't some random dollar store or mini cube is probably my shengshou aroura (which was my first speedcube). It wasn't that bad for it's time but that was 9 years ago. Oh, I guess my vintage cube is worse but that is kinda obvious.

1982 rubik's clone cubes, called 'Wonderful Puzzlers.' Even WAY WORSE than Rubik brand.
In those days to get any kind of speed you needed what was called 'an original Rubik's cube'. But 99% of cubes were clones which sucked.
I used many of these for my early Fisher Cubes and they were fine. Let's break it down-
Worst - Random unbranded flimsy barely usable easily breakable cubes. The kind you buy on holiday with pictures of the place you are staying.
Next - Wonderful puzzler type cubes that were perfectly usable and reasonable quality.
Next - Modern genuine Rubik's Cubes. Well built and of good quality but movement lacking.
Next - Original genuine Rubik's Cubes from the 80s. Smooth crisp movement that made them stand out from all the above. Solid construction.
Next - The modern era of Cubes. Thin plastic, feels cheap and far too light. Performance for a speedcuber however far out weighing the superior construction of the original Rubik's cubes.

I have a tiny (~1" / 2cm) halloween themed picture cube that is basically impossible to turn and it is super hard to even see the pictures on it to figure out the center orientations. I haven't actually solved it yet (but I haven't seriously tried).
