Suggestion: Buy, Sell, Trade Forum

What if you have people that make threads in the the Buy, Sell, Trade Forum the ability to close their thread once the sale has ended or they can't find a buyer.

Please leave feedback on the idea, and elaborate if you feel this change is unreasonable.

Makes sense, but rather than giving people the ability to close their own threads, they can already either

-ask a mod to close it for them
-edit their own original post (not sure if this would be frowned upon or not)

Or could threads auto-close after a set period of time?

I wouldn't want an auto-close on a thread. If someone wants to revive their thread months after, they can't. Whereas with this new idea, people could simply re-open their thread.

I agree with this. You should be able to close your own thread when everything is sold so the board doesn't become too cluttered.

The best way to handle this: when you want your post closed, report the post and tell us that you want it closed.
