Hello! I have an xman volt v2, it actually broke while i was trying to lube it i need some help. The / layer is amazing it doesn't need any lube but the top and bottom are so stiff ive tried tensioning it but it does nothing. Please help i use weight 5 and dnm 37

First make sure it isn't just slow because you haven't broken it in. If you are sure it isn't because you have used the cube enough, you can disassemble it and then wipe down the pieces with a hand towel. When you are done, put some DNM in the slice and a TINY amount of weight 5 in one layer. Keep adding a crumb sized piece of weight 5 until it is slow enough. That should take a maximum of 3 bits of weight 5. Then, break it in. A LOT. This may take a while, but it s crucial if you are using a slow lube.

Is there a way to not take it apart?

I have said most of what I know about square 1(I suck at squan lol). You will probably get a lot of help in about 10 hours because of time zones and stuff, so maybe you can get some assistance from them.

I have the Xman volt v2 as well and the only reason why the top and bottom layers are stiff is because of the strong magnets. If you don't like that feel then get a non-magnetic squan like the Meilong or just get used to the feeling.
