Hi!

I started cubing a year ago, with the basic beginer Layer-by-layer method. I recently took up cubing more seriously trying to get faster. I basicly solve the cube in the basic beginner manner, but with the fridrich intuitive F2l method to do the first two layers.

My best time with this technique is 1.41, with an average at 2.01 with 3 solves.

Beside from getting faster at F2l, and the basic cross, what would be the next step for me?

Thanx for the help!

Regards
Alexander

learnign 4 look last layer
2L PLL
and 2L OLL
Learn fingertricks

you can find algs in the wiki of this site, also, i suggest watching cubers that aren't too fast videos(like sub30 people), so you can see what they do, because at this stage 10tps you'd barely see something.

faster doesn`t mean turning the layers as fast as possible , slowdown and train your lookahead , it`s more important than fingertrick ( see here) solve the cube without delays is much faster than keep turing and turing then stop to find the next piece. Then learn new LL (OLL+PLL) algorithm , and practice your fingertrick , it less important than looahead doesn't mean it's not important .To train it , i`d recommend a cube with original structure like :C4u (1st version ) , rubik's DIY .... all the cube with bad corner cutting , if you're using a Dayan cube , then stop using it , it makes your fingertrick suck . You should use a perfect cube ( Ex: Dayan series ) when you can solve it less then 20s .
P/s : sorry for my bad english .
