What are these? Are these normal or are they not? I feel like they're just tracking robots by google, bing, and baidu, but I'm not sure...

Normal web crawlers. They help results show up in google and other search engines when you search for cubing related terms.

isn't there some function that new member posts are hidden for review? I swear I had to deal with that when I first posted

I'd like to give a suggestion: add a captcha to the registration process. This'll ensure that nothing like this will ever happen again.

Thanks Brest+other mods who probably helped.

I found a few spam accounts still left, for example this one:

Nicholskaren235

www.speedsolving.com

They might be new accounts, since the age has changed, although the name formatting is identical

They’re reappearing but not posting new threads now

Captcha farms exist, though that would help

I reiterate my suggestion of not showing new members' posts, which is used on other forums.

Can we make it so the word trump is blacklisted for now?

[AlgoCuber]

Looks like we have another spam attack...

[Nmile7300]

I feel like the mods might need to temporarily shut down the forums until they can get rid of the spam bots for good. This is getting ridiculously out of hand and annoying.

As much as I would hate that happening, I think that would be the best solution for the issue.

They're back again and now they're blaming qwr. This is bad.

Hey @Brest, looks like we have another bot attack. Please help.

The owners are probably working as hard as they can right now to try and prevent it.
