ShengShou 5x5 Core/Tiles

My friend is wanting to update his ShengShou 5x5 and needs to know some information. He cracked his current core and wants to replace it. He can't find where to purchase a new one and wants to know which type to get if there are multiple. He also doesn't know how well Cubesmith 5x5 Tiles would fit on it if they do.

Directly from the Cubesmith website under "5x5 Tiles"

These are not the small size 5x5x5 stickers, and will be too large for the ShengShou 5x5x5 puzzle.

May I ask why he wants tiles? Also, on Cubesmith, you can purchase tile sheets and he could cut them himself. I mean, if he really wants tiles, he'll have to work for it.
