Need help with my rubik's magic

Hey i really know that this should be in the hardware section but I need help NOW! I need to know a tool to unstring a rubiks magic so I can restring it. Right now it's like half way unstrung and its a knot waiting to happen... HELP PLZ!!!

Just turn the tiles gently but firmly with your hands and the strings will come loose easily

Sort of pertinent question: If I'm restringing with this way (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6i3c2ggjQQQ&feature=related) and if I accidentally do even one C as or D or vice versa, will the magic not work? Because I'm pretty sure I restrung it exactly to the video but I couldn't do anything with the magic.

searching on this forum should give you some of my posts about unscrambling a (master) magic

Basically you
1) get it flat
2) get it 2*6
3) get it solved

For 1 you should focus on finding single panels, bring them together and make all pairs
For 2, you should analyse my flipping only video on youtube
For 3, you should find my post about the 4*8 states there can be on a magic. for master magic that would become 6*8 states

Also, don't forget that it is actually a puzzle this way, not just a dexterity tool

P.S I've gotten my master magic into a 3X4 rectangle. How can I get it into a 2*6 from that?

LOL, I unscrambled my master magic, SO MANY times. like uncountable, there are good tuts but the mmgc does become quite fragile, still works though

Help with scrambled master magic

I've been messing around with a scrambled master magic I got, and I finally got it into a 2X6, but the rings are messed up. I don't really want a straight answer for the specific case I got, but just in general, what are some moves that you can do on a scrambled master magic (in the correct shape but with the rings messed up) that can eventually get it unscrambled. Like when I mess up my normal magic, I just kind of play around with the first two steps of the beginners method of solving a normal magic and eventually I get the three rings back together, but what about a master magic? By the way, I don't know if this is important, but the master magic is kind of like flipped, like if I tried to solve the master magic normally, I'd have to start form the back instead of the front to be able to do the moves to solve it.

Rubik's Magic Advanced Method Help

I have learned both the beginner's and the advanced method for the rubik's magic today, and I am pretty good at it. But for the advanced method, I keep having trouble with the last two steps. Yea magics are all finger speed. Once you learn the method it's all about practicing it. I was averaging 2.5 in no time at all and then my magic broke :'(

Here's how it goes:
Do the weird thingie, pick one double flap and move it up, move one flap to the left, move a double falp up and over to the back. Now, flip the magic over, move the top vertical double flap to the left, move one flap up, now move the double flap to the left and your down, like a pro.

sorry if i offend the person who created the tutorial you posted, but they suck. there is no need to 'double barrel roll' the magic when undoing it, just twist clockwise like a normal person. also, flipping the magic over wastes time. you can solve the magic from the bottom (the underneath side) so that your last move is completely 'streching out' the puzzle with the solved side facing down. you can kill 2 birds with one stone if you learn to 'flick' the puzzle out while throwing it down. not only will the puzzle be solved and out of the way of the timer, but you also are bringing your hands down in a position to stop the timer.

for more help, just watch a LOT of magic videos. although they are typically less than a second, if you pay attention you can tell whats going on. the hardest parts for me are picking the puzzle up and of course the final flick.
