I have a question about improving my solving time. At the moment in know all 21 plls, intuitive f2l, and 2 look oll. My time is around 35 seconds on average. Should I learn the rest of the olls or something else?

Nice, work on improving your F2L times. Practicing just F2L got me from 45 seconds down to 29 seconds on average. Now that I'm at around 29 seconds average, I am starting 1-look OLL. If you want, start the easy OLLs now, but work on F2L more.

use a website like webmetronome.com and set it slow, maybe around 80 or so. Every time you hear a click, make a turn, and never skip a beat. When you get better, make the beat faster, but never skip a beat, if you do, go slower. This will help your look ahead, and as a result, help your F2L.

Have you done a break-up of your solve?(ie. Note the average time it takes you to solve cross,F2L,LL). What is your LL avg. time?. I avg. around 27 s,using 3-Look LL, and my average LL execution time is around 10 s. Am trying to get my F2L under 15 s consistently, now.

So,my suggestion would be to bring down your LL times,if you avg. above 15s (for LL) and learn OLL's for dot cases (quite easy, though if you use LL control,it won't be required). Else, practice your F2L ( I am on the same boat as you..).

I timed my self on each step:
cross: 4-6 seconds
f2l: 14-17
LL: 12-15 (sometimes it takes me awhile to recognize pll cases)

also usually when I'm solving after I do cross+f2l i glance at the timer and it's usually 20-22 seconds

You may want to work on F2L times AND PLL then.

Before I started F2L intuitively, I used LBL with 4L-LL and I was averaging 45s with some of my best at 41. Does PLL give you only 6s? Maybe that is normal, but I would think it saves more time.

I'd stick with what BYU said however and really work that F2L down. It's what I'm doing too :(

I can do the pll alg in 2-4 seconds depending on the alg. It sometimes takes me awhile to recognize which one it is.

I timed myself to see how long it took me to recognize:
cross: 5.13
f2l: 13.65
OLL: 5.64
-3.90 to recognize PLL (was a G(a))
PLL: 3.64

Hmm, well then I'd definitely consider working on the F2L times, though 13s seems great to me :D

Maybe use http://webmetronome.com/ to keep consistent turning (even throughout the OLL to PLL stage). I'm working on that now, starting at 80bpm and I rarely miss a beat after a day or so of practice. (sometimes I fail miserably and have to slow it to 70bpm).

yeah that 13 was little lucky for me a few of my favorite f2l cases. I guess I'll start practicing my f2l then on recognizing PLLs and possibly at the same time memorize 1 oll a day.
