[Help Thread] Pyraminx Discussion

Thanks.

Also what method is the best for getting sub-8 or 10? I average about 15 and use the LBL method.

You can get sub-4 or 5 with LBL and practice alone, but you may want to switch to L4E when you're closer to that time frame, as it's generally a better method.

Or you could check out top first methods... but why would you? :p

Seriously though, a lot of people get fast with top first methods, but as a V-first user I can't personally condone them without being a disgrace to my fellow V-first users, lol.

@PyraminxKing I think that, for getting faster on a tip-first method ( I use LBL) you must see your entire top in inspection, start taking the time you need for inspection, and after some time, you will be able to see the entire top in less than 15 seconds.

Hello,
I'm learning how to solve pyraminx. And I was wondering what the best method is for learning?

Thanks for any help! :)
LBL is the easiest method to learn, I'm still using this and I get around ~5.7 average. lol i should learn l4e. But for LBL there are many many tutorials on youtube to learn it from

Wow..How did you get so fast? I will not worry but I was just wondering. My Pyraminx still did not come  but it will come monday:)

I've been practicing Pyraminx seriously for about 3 and a half years now, so it definitely comes with time. I taught myself intuitive L4E as well, which is a method that works really well for me. Pyraminx is my main event, so I've put more practice into it than I've put into other events.

Enjoy your Pyraminx when you get it! It's a super-fun event. :)
