I've never heard that name, and it seems bad given that there are twice as many truncations as the "half truncated cube" but they're not as deep.

My QJ does not have a ball core though – it has a core similar to a 3x3, just only extending in 4 directions. So I don't think it is a QJ...

Hey after some research my cube seems to be an EastWinner cube. They call it "Speed Cube Ultimate".

I think it would be considered a type E. Not sure though.

EDIT: No it can't be. Type E's are diansheng.
I don't think that cube is even in the wiki.

Vintage 1980's 'Siamese' Cube

Hello!

I was recently given a Rubik's Siamese Cube as a gift from a friend who was clearing out their loft.

This is the only one I've seen so far, so I was wondering how rare it is.

Does anyone else have one of these, or have you seen one anywhere else?

Apologies if I got the name wrong - that could be why I can't find another!

Is this a completely overpriced cube, or is there something special about it?

I was just scouring ebay, and decided to punch rubiks cube in there and see what came up, after a while I ran into this:

It costs AU$147.82, which I thought was just a little extreme, so I went into it and checked it out, there doesn't seem to be anything special about it, and it seems to be a cheap (well, not cheap in cost haha) knock off. And then the seller mentions in the description that it is a 'great party bag/stocking filler'. Who puts a $150 dollar toy in a party bag??
Anyway I thought it was pretty funny, and the guys a top rated seller also.
If anyone manages to find something special about it, let me know.
I wonder if hes sold any yet

Is this the Shengshou 4x4 v3

I cant give a link because im out of town and using my nookcolor, but if you type in shengshou on amazon.com, is that the v3? Theres nothing on there that signifies that it is, and i heard previous ones are terrible. So that would be great.

I'll say this - I bought my shengshou 4x4 on amazon. The stickers peel immediately and it doesn't seem to turn as well as I had hoped.

Yeah ofcourse, it says 3rd generation after Shengshou 4x4
