Apologies for the poor quality picture, but is anyone able to tell me what type of cube this is?

Thanks in advance

It has yellow core and very thick plastic on the centers
I would say it's a Alpha Original (Alpha (I)) Black base

But not 100% sure, because I dont see the Guo Jia logo on the white stickers...(But they can be replaced tho)

can't see the inner mechanisme
but if the popbuying is no liying it is the Alpha (II) black base

Thanks for the reply. There are no logos on any side, and the stickers are good quality which seem more square than normal (hardly any rounding on the corners). I bought it a while back off ebay and this is how it came, in a plain white box with a diamond hole on one side.

hm...well my intuition still goes to Alpha (I)
about the rounding corners, Alpha (I) doesn't have too much rounded corners like F does.
Have you ask the seller your self?

Yup, the cut corner quality is better than the 1st edition
It's (I Believe) the 1st cube that ever use the track ways on the side of the edges and the centers. It helps to reduce the friction, so it feels faster. But due to that, it pops more often than the 1st gen (but not too bad)

is this really QJ?

Even I can't find it on the QJ official web site here http://www.chinaqunjia.com/en/

As far as I know, only YJ ever came up with the name Finhop...

Daniel, what's your respond on these ones?

I think those are YJ
Because there's also this one

Named QJ, but the pictures are YJ...
If it's true....grrr I hate YJ even more now...they even replicate Guo Jia...sucks

This is my friend's cube, it's really light, pretty crispy, and he got it last summer in China.

Brilliant. I should've done that.

TCUBER(one last time): Why is it that in order to get people to visit your website, you need to advertise it in a completely different thread? Do what CubingUSA does, and advertise it in your sig, so that the forum doesn't need to be filled up with advertising. It saves bandwidth, and you might not get banned.

Now let's get this thread back on topic.

I actually can't tell anything from those pictures, except that it is a very common design. No idea.

Mhm, if that's the core I would say C. Otherwise it could be an Old Alpha, Type D, even an Edison, Joy Cube, JSK, Maru...
