At what point did he express his opinion that it was impossible that someone was faster then him? He simply stated he searched and could not find a faster video.

I realized that that later video beat my computer cube time, so I did a few tries on gelatinbrain and got 2:03. This can be done a lot better with a better control scheme.

Sure, I have plenty of tips. But it all depends on the control scheme. I used gelatinbrain for this puzzle, and the only real tips there are (a) turn animation off, and (b) practice until the whole "right click = clockwise, left click = counterclockwise" thing feels natural.
